American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position requiring an OH or compact RN license and recent dialysis experience.

Details

• Work in the dialysis unit of a hospital setting
• Provide intermittent hemodialysis (IHD) to stable patients in the unit and at bedside for ICU patients
• Connect and disconnect patients from peritoneal dialysis treatments
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours per week with shifts from 7am–7:30pm or 8:30am–9pm
• On-call rotation and every other weekend required
• Primary use of Fresenius dialysis machines
• CRRT is managed by ICU nurses and is not part of this role

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent dialysis experience required before travel
• At least one recent reference from a supervisor, ANM, manager, or director in dialysis required for consideration

Additional Information

• Full orientation provided on Fresenius dialysis machines
• No experience with PIRRT or Tablo machines required
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic locations cannot exceed 18 consecutive months
• A six-month waiting period is required before starting another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
• First time travelers accepted
