Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med Surg Telemetry position requiring a WI or compact RN license and strong acute care skills.

Details

• Work in a Med Surg or Stepdown Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Assignments may be on the Med Surg 7W, PCU, or other Telemetry units based on facility needs
• Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, including every other weekend and holiday coverage
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to other locations within a 40-mile radius

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience
• Certifications required: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification needed per unit protocol
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start

Additional Information

• Provide care to stepdown and telemetry patients in both med-surg and PCU settings as assigned
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced pay rate based on the facility's radius rule
• Holiday and every other weekend coverage is expected
