American Traveler is seeking a Wound Care RN with a FL or compact license, WCC or WOCN certification, and EPIC experience for a day shift assignment.

Details

• Work in the wound care department with a primary location at a hospital and the possibility of floating to nearby community hospitals
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Floating is required for wound consults across four hospitals
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• WCC certification required; WOCN certification preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of wound care RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references from an authority figure within the last year required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required seasonally, with medical or religious exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide specialized wound and ostomy care and consults within a multidisciplinary team
• No weekend shifts or on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling may be considered with prior manager approval
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers with no mileage radius requirements
• Employment separation of at least one year is required for previous contracted employees
• RTO (requested time off) must be finalized prior to offer and will not be accepted afterward
• Scrubs must be a solid color and matching sets, with no logos or prints; you may provide your own or use facility-provided scrubs
• Free parking is provided with a decal issued during orientation
