American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Interventional Radiology position requiring an active IL RN license and proficiency in moderate sedation.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology department within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm
• Position requires participation in on-call coverage as needed
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Proficiency in administering moderate sedation required

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible parties
• Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Engage in ongoing education and uphold Core Measure responsibilities
