American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med-Surg/Neuro position requiring a current NY RN license and recent Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital on the Neurosciences/EMU D5N unit
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and neuro cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
• Floating requirements not specified
• No blocked scheduling is permitted

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med-Surg/Neuro specialty
• Certifications from AHA or RQI must be current
• Experience with Epic EMR is mandatory
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the last 12 months will be accepted
• Only candidates with US Social Security Number are eligible
• Medical flu vaccine exemption only; personal or religious declinations not accepted

Additional Information

• Competency testing is required and must be passed within two attempts
• Call outs are limited to three per 13-week contract; additional call outs will result in termination
• All required time off (RTO) must be requested at submission
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• Candidates living in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties are not eligible
• Holiday coverage and make-up shifts for call outs may be required
