Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a minimum of 2 years of recent hospital-based ICU experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Position is part-time in the hospital ICU
• Night shift schedule with two 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float required to other campuses' ICU units as needed to maintain hours
• Typical ICU nurse-patient ratio is 3:1
• Every other weekend work is required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent and consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Knowledge of medication scanning required
• Ability to return to facility within one hour if placed on call

Additional Information

• Former permanent employees must wait at least 6 months before returning
• All requests for time off must not exceed 7 days
• Missed shifts must be made up or covered by the traveler
• Returning to work on scheduled weekends during approved time off requires finding coverage
• References will be requested as part of the hiring process
