Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit position requiring BMT or heme/onc acute care experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in a 36-bed (soon to expand to 51 beds) hospital BMT unit
• Patient population includes individuals with blood cancers receiving chemo/biotherapies, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapies
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 3-4:1
• Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00) with varied days of the week
• Weekend coverage required per unit needs
• Use of Epic charting system
• Floating within scope to like units is required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• ONC certification required
• Minimum of 2 years acute care BMT or hematology/oncology nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Care for patients undergoing advanced cancer therapies such as stem cell transplants and CAR-T
• Navy scrubs are required
• First-time travelers will be considered if all experience criteria are met
• Time off requests (RTO) are restricted and not permitted during specified blackout dates
• Local candidates accepted with specific bill rate if residing less than 75 miles from the facility
