American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN with at least 2 years of experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Position is in the PACU unit of a short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level I trauma status
• Patient population includes all age groups from pediatric to geriatric
• Facility features 6 preop bays, 8 PACU bays, and 4 Phase II bays
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week from 18:00 to 06:30, including weekends
• Requires floating to TASC (Ambulatory Surgical Center) within the hospital
• Blocked scheduling is available with unit manager approval for RTO
• Cerner charting system is used

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license (may be submitted with pending)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required
• CPAN certification is preferred

• Responsibilities include caring for patients through all phases of post-anesthesia recovery for diverse age groups
• Scrubs are provided for PACU RNs
