Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN First Assist with strong CVOR and endoscopic vein harvesting skills for a cardiac-focused surgical team.

Details

• Hospital-based position in an Operating Room supporting cardiac surgeries
• Primary focus on CVOR procedures with vein harvesting responsibilities
• Day shifts available: 7:00am-5:30pm (4x10s) or 7:00am-3:30pm (8-hour days)
• Call required 12-18 days per month
• Weekend shifts required 2-3 weekends per month
• Floating to perform First Assist duties in ortho, vascular, gyn, thoracic, and general surgeries when not assigned cardiac cases

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Must be able to proficiently harvest veins endoscopically
• Extensive CVOR experience required
• Strong abilities in vein harvesting and cardiac surgery (rated 3s or 4s preferred)
• 5 years of RNFA or STFA experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• Willing to consider STFA certification instead of RNFA
