Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position in New Jersey requiring recent neonatal experience and both BLS and NRP certifications.

Details

• Level III NICU unit within a hospital setting
• Care for micro preemies and utilize high frequency ventilation
• Patient ratio is 1:2
• Couplet care practice with a Stork RN on each shift
• Day shift position working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call obligations
• Float required to up to five hospitals within skillset as needed
• Epic EMR system used; prior experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Level III NICU experience
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Experience caring for micro preemies and using high frequency ventilation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required without exemptions

Additional Information

• Expected to participate in couplet care and work collaboratively with the Stork RN on each shift
• Navy blue scrubs required
• RTO must be provided at time of application; schedule changes after submission are not accepted
• First time travelers will be considered but are not preferred
• Local pay rate is reduced for those living within 50 miles of the hospital
