Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a KY or compact license and at least 2 years of ICU experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Work in the ICU/CCU unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is 1:2 in the ICU
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Rotating weekly schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, with shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Floating to other units may be required during low census periods
• Bi-weekly orientation provided

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years current ICU nursing experience
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Travel pairs are not permitted unless there are exceptional unit needs
• No local candidates accepted due to radius rule
• Responsibilities include providing critical care to ICU/CCU patients and cross-unit support as needed
