Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with a WV or compact license and 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience.

Details

• Position is in a 28-bed Emergency Room at a Level 4 Trauma hospital
• Patient ratio is 1 nurse to 4 patients
• Eligible candidates will work 12-hour shifts from 15:00 to 03:00
• Work schedule alternates between 36 and 48 hours per week
• Bi-weekly orientation is provided

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Room experience
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIH, TNCC, PALS, CPI
• Applicant must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Must be able to work one minor or one major of each upcoming holiday

Additional Information

• Level 4 Trauma center requires capable and flexible clinicians
• Holiday coverage is mandatory as scheduled
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Travel pairs are not allowed
• Candidates who are local (within 100 miles) are not eligible
