American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a current NY RN license and night shifts in a critical care environment.

Details

• Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of a hospital
• 16-bed unit serving patients with sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, multi-organ failure, post-cardiac arrest, and those requiring advanced therapies such as CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2, with occasional 1:1 based on acuity
• Night shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Uses Epic EMR, Epic experience is required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license in hand
• Minimum of 1 year of MICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility

• Shift assignments may occasionally be 1:1 based on patient acuity
• Three shifts per 13-week assignment may be called off per facility policy
• Must submit all time off requests at the start of the assignment
