American Traveler is seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery RN with a DC RN license and at least 2 years of recent L&D experience for a night shift position.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a teaching hospital
• Level 1 Trauma Center with 228 staffed beds
• Night shifts are 4x12 hours from 19:30 to 08:00
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Floating within hospital or to an affiliate hospital as needed
• Patient population includes antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
• Uses Centricity, Sorian, EDM, Lawson, and Kronos EMR systems

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D nursing experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Two supervisor references required
• Not open to candidates with pending licenses

• Scrubs are provided by the hospital

• Return staff must have a 1-year separation before being reconsidered
