Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a CA license for a Labor and Delivery night shift role requiring prior travel and C-section circulation experience.

Details

• Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit at a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, three days per week
• Every other weekend work required
• Requires the ability to float to other units or facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Patient population includes labor, delivery, and postpartum care

Requirements

• Active CA RN license
• AHA certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience, with at least 1 year recent
• Postpartum experience required
• Ability to circulate C-sections required
• Prior travel nursing assignment within the last 12 months required
• Must be willing and able to float
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and booster required with no exceptions

Additional Information

• Must complete pre-start and annual online modules as part of onboarding
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital is preferred
• All time-off requests must be submitted and approved at the time of offer; requests after contract signing will not be considered
• Travel pairs are permitted but generally will not be assigned to the same unit
• Married couples may not work on the same unit
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
