Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a current MA RN license, ACLS certification, and expertise with Epic EMR.

Details

• Work in a GI/Endoscopy unit performing general GI procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, and dilations
• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR system is used and experience with Epic is required
• IV insertion skills are necessary
• No local travelers accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Prior procedural experience with general GI procedures required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• IV insertion skills required
• Experience with moderate sedation preferred
• Must not have worked at the facility as travel, permanent, or per diem staff within the last six months
• COVID-19 vaccine plus booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
• Must pass Tele/ECG and medication tests for Milton and Plymouth campuses

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care throughout GI procedures including moderate sedation and IV insertion
• Orientation is scheduled weekly on Mondays
• All requests for time off must be presented at the time of consideration
• Parking costs in the area can be up to $43 per day
• Returning employees must complete a six-month separation from any previous assignments at the health system
