American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health House Nurse Coordinator position in a psychiatric dual diagnosis unit, requiring 2+ years of acute psych supervisory experience and a KY or compact license.

Details

• Work in a dual diagnosis psych nursing unit with acute behavioral health patients
• Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and pediatric patients
• Patient ratio is 1:5
• 12-hour day shifts (07:00-19:30) with a rotating 36/48 hours per two-week pay period
• Orientation starts bi-weekly

Requirements

• Active KY or Compact RN license required
• 2 or more years of recent experience as a house supervisor or coordinator in an acute behavioral health or psych setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• CPI certification required for behavioral health
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Copy of driver’s license and two references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for coordinating patient care and supervising nursing operations in the psych unit
• Must be able to care for a diverse patient population including adults, geriatrics, and children
• No local candidates accepted due to radius rule
• Travel pairs are not permitted
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
