Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced GI Lab RN with a strong background in complex gastroenterology procedures such as ERCP and a valid CA RN license.

Details

• Work in the GI Lab of a hospital setting
• Care for patients undergoing advanced gastroenterology procedures, including ERCP cases
• Variable day shifts: 7:00–17:00 or 11:00–23:00, four 10-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend shifts are required
• On-call duties may be required as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 6 months of traveler experience
• Strong clinical background in advanced gastroenterology and endoscopy procedures, particularly ERCP
• Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility
• Returning staff must be gone at least 1 year prior to consideration

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include managing and coordinating the delivery of specialized GI patient care from admission to discharge
• Coordinate with physicians, patients, families, and the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
• Must be able to prioritize patient care in routine and emergency situations and respond effectively to emergencies
• Only one holiday request off will be approved during the contract
• Availability to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing is required
