American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Progressive Care position in New York, requiring an active NY RN license, EPIC experience, and AHA or RQI certifications.

Details

• Position is located in a Neuro Progressive Care unit
• Day shifts are 12 hours, from 07:00 to 19:00
• Patients are primarily neurological or neurosurgical with progressive care needs
• Uses EPIC EMR system, prior experience required
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Call outs exceeding three in a 13-week contract may result in termination, with make-up shifts required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Neuro Progressive Care or a similar specialty
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical flu exemption allowed only with a licensed professional's documentation; no personal or religious exemptions

Additional Information

• Competency testing required, with only two attempts allowed to pass
• Holiday coverage may be expected according to unit needs
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• RTO (requested time off) must be included at the time of application
• Applicants who reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
• Only one position application allowed per traveler
