American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Surgical Progressive Care Unit night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent PCU experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

• Work in the Cardiac Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
• Cardiac surgical patient population with progressive care needs
• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Floating requirements not specified
• No call or on-call requirements indicated

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Progressive Care or Cardiac Surgical PCU experience required
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• 1 professional reference required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Additional Information

• Care for post-surgical cardiac patients requiring intermediate level of care
• Must be able to provide documentation of all required certifications
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of contract
• Not available for first time travelers
