American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor for a night shift L&D position requiring DC RN licensure and advanced certifications.

• Position is for a Clinical Supervisor in a Labor & Delivery unit
• Located in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts with a 7pm start and call required
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Electronic charting with Cerner experience required
• Candidate must live at least 25 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active DC RN license with no pending status
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• NRP and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• Mandated CPI certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent L&D RN experience in a US hospital
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Must provide two supervisory references from recent employers

Additional Information

• Oversees clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service, and resource utilization during assigned shifts
• Maintains a safe and efficient care environment appropriate to the age of the patients served
• Acts as a role model for organizational values and leads participation in departmental process improvement projects
• Facilitates team engagement activities, including professional governance and staff development initiatives
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
• Scrub or dress code details may be provided at orientation
• Previous permanent employees of the facility are not eligible
