Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position; candidates must have FL or compact RN license, as well as recent Cath Lab experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• 13-bed unit supported by a multidisciplinary team including RNs and CVTs
• Typical procedures include left and right heart caths, peripherals, structural heart, and EP
• Patient ratio is typically 1:3
• Day shift schedule from 7:00am to 5:30pm or until all cases are completed
• After-hours, weekend, and major holiday call required
• Uses Phillips and GE equipment
• Documentation with Meditech and Mac Lab

Requirements

• Active Florida or compact RN license required
• Current AHA or ARC certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab experience required
• Must submit US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• Two references required if licensed in Florida or Missouri; otherwise, one reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility; no local candidates accepted

Additional Information

• Must be flexible and able to function independently in a fast-paced environment
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Team consists of 30 staff members including RNs and Cardiovascular Technologists
• On-call coverage is required for night shifts, weekends, and major holidays
