American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position requiring a GA or compact RN license and strong recent cardiac and vascular operating room experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adult cardiac and vascular surgical cases
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• No on-call requirements
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius

Requirements

• Active Georgia or compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months recent full-time experience in a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years
• Proficiency in cardiac and vascular procedures, including strong endovascular experience
• Must have experience with all levels (3s and 4s) of cardiac and vascular cases
• Former staff must have separated for 1 year if returning to health system, and 18 months if returning to the same facility

Additional Information

• Collaborate as part of the cardiac surgery team performing complex procedures
• Maximum of five days of requested time off (RTO) allowed unless during holidays, then a maximum of three days
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted during assignment
• Several consecutive days of time off during the holiday period will not be approved
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
