American Traveler is seeking an experienced Home Health RN with at least 1 year of recent skilled home health and OASIS experience for an assignment covering Mt. Angel, OR and nearby areas.

Details

• Work in a home health setting serving patients in Mt. Angel, OR and surrounding regions
• Typical caseload involves visiting up to 6 patients per day with a 30-point productivity standard
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of occasional weekends
• No on-call or float between like units required locally, but travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state if needed
• EPIC used for charting; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active OR RN license (standard or compact accepted; pending license considered)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent skilled home health experience
• Experience with OASIS documentation required
• Current BCLS certification
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel within a radius of up to 50+ miles as occasionally needed
• Primary series COVID vaccine plus one booster required

Additional Information

• Role involves independent patient visits, assessment, coordination of care, and documentation using OASIS and EPIC
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
• Free parking is available and any color scrubs are acceptable
• Locals within 50 miles are accepted at the same rate
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and may not have worked within 50 miles of the facility
• Weekends may be required, and holiday coverage expectations will follow assignment and regional needs
• All time off requests must be addressed during application; minimal RTO is allowed and excessive requests may affect consideration
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
