American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU contract position on the MSICU, requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent ICU experience.

Details

• Work in a Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) within a hospital
• Adult critical care patient population
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) per unit type
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• References required per state: one for TX, two if licensed in FL or MO
• No local candidates accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the MSICU
• Holiday coverage may be required based on assignment needs
• Specific dress code or scrubs requirements will be provided by the facility
