American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with strong ortho skills and an active FL or compact RN license for a day shift travel role.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room within a hospital setting
• Primary focus on orthopedic cases
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled for Monday, Thursday, and Friday
• Call coverage is required for this position
• Floating may be required to other Operating Rooms at sister campuses within 15-20 minutes

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license verified through Nursys at the time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Strong orthopedic operating room experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Nursing degree from an accredited program or at least 5 years of experience
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Driver's license address must match the address on the Board of Nursing record

Additional Information

• Candidates may be floated to other ORs at sister campuses as needed
• No block scheduling requests will be accommodated
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Orientation begins on a Friday and includes both remote and on-site components
• Team-oriented and flexible individuals are preferred
• Proof of COVID and flu vaccination may be required
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred but not required
