Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN with recent cardiovascular OR experience and Epic proficiency for a large teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within a large, academic teaching hospital
• Shifts available are 4x10 hour day shifts (0645-1715) or 3x12 hour day shifts (0645-1915)
• Includes one or two weekday call shifts (1900-0715) and one full weekend of call every 5 weeks
• May be required to float to other OR suites such as general, ortho, neuro, or ENT
• Epic EMR experience from the past 2 years required

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license; if not already licensed in VT, must apply within 24 hours of accepting the position
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CNOR preferred
• Minimum of 2 years recent operating room RN experience with strong competency in cardiovascular/open heart procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in large (500+ beds), academic, teaching hospital required
• General OR experience required
• Reliable personal transportation required; public transportation is not accessible in the area

Additional Information

• Must be flexible with schedule to accommodate unit and patient care needs
• Holiday coverage required for at least 2 out of the following: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
• No block scheduling allowed for any reason
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November–April
