American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring recent CVICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a hospital setting
• Care for critically ill cardiovascular patient population
• 3x12 hour shifts with rotating day (7am-7:30pm) and night (7pm-7:30am) schedule, with potential for variable assignment based on operational needs
• Use of ECG monitoring and advanced cardiovascular support equipment
• Rotation between day and night shifts may be required
• Must work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH or compact state RN license in hand
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience required
• Prior permanent experience in specialty required before travel assignments
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Additional Information

• Provide specialized care to cardiovascular ICU patients in a fast-paced environment
• Orientation includes clinical testing and assessment requirements
• Assignments at any location within the health system are limited to 18 consecutive months with a 6-month wait period before re-assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered if all experience requirements are met
