Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring 18 months of recent CVICU experience and a current OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Patient population includes cardiovascular and critical care cases
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Uses ECG rhythm monitoring equipment

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Minimum 18 months permanent experience in CVICU prior to travel assignments
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Additional Information

• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months
• A 6 month break is required before returning for another assignment at these locations
• Orientation includes assessments to ensure competency in rhythm recognition and medication safety
• Travelers use Qualivis – Lotus for submitting hours worked
