Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown position requiring WI or compact licensure and at least two years of acute care tele or PCU experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting on the Med Surg 7W unit
• Patient population includes med-surg and telemetry, with the possibility of stepdown or PCU placement based on skills
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
• Floating required within skill set onsite or to affiliated sites within a 40-mile radius

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med-Surg Telemetry or Progressive Care/Stepdown
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and US address

Additional Information

• Travelers may be placed where the facility has the greatest need based on skill set
• Must be able to float within skill set and between sites as needed
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage (EOW/EOH) required
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced local pay rate according to facility radius rules
