American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Transplant ICU position in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center requiring Oklahoma or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Neuro Transplant ICU within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes neuro and transplant critical care cases
• Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center environment
• Night shift with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services

Additional Information

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of neuro transplant ICU patients
• Assist with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments in collaboration with physicians
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, administer prescribed medications, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Communicate care plans and hospital procedures to patients and families
• Delegation of appropriate tasks to support staff required
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered
• Holiday and weekend shifts are assigned according to hospital policy
