Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to work on an Ortho/Trauma Unit, requiring at least one year of recent hospital experience and a valid OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Ortho/Trauma Unit of an acute care hospital
• Day shifts are required
• Med/Surg and SD experience required
• Treats a variety of patients with health issues ranging from simple to complex
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Requirements

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or a valid compact state (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year of recent nursing experience
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required

Additional Information

• Duties include administering medications, monitoring patients, documenting interventions, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and collaborating on care plans
• Patient and family education regarding care plans and hospital procedures is expected
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
• Assignment involves working within a multidisciplinary team environment
