American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with a CA license and acute care hospital case management experience.

Details

• Position is in an acute care hospital case management unit
• Day shifts, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:00 to 16:30
• Patient caseload ratio is 1:20
• Weekend rotation is required based on department needs
• No floating expectations within facility for this role
• Epic EMR system is used and prior experience is required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license or eligibility to obtain by start date
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital case management experience, including care coordination and discharge planning
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Two supervisory references covering at least one year of employment in a similar setting within the last three years
• Submission of SSN and DOB is required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted and will be screened by clinical staff
• Scrubs or business attire are acceptable dress codes
• No more than 7 days of requested time off permitted
• Returning former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before applying as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state if needed
• Coverage during weekend and departmental needs is required
