American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient electrophysiology cardiology clinic assignment requiring at least 2 years of cardiology and EP lab or outpatient clinic experience in Seattle, WA.

Details

• Position based in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting
• Focus on electrophysiology procedures and cardiac patient population
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call required
• Floating may be required within the nurse's skillset and to other facilities within the state
• EMR is Epic and prior Epic experience is required

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of cardiology or EP lab/outpatient clinic experience required
• Strong background in cardiology and electrophysiology
• Experience with pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, Watchman procedure, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, AICD insertion/programming, LAA closure, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, thrombolytics, and EKG/ECG interpretation and management
• Current certifications as required for an RN assignment
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a similar specialty/setting
• Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include device clinic procedures, patient education, and arrhythmia management
• Preferred qualifications include experience with GLP-1 therapies, risk factor modification clinics, quality improvement initiatives, and strong patient engagement skills
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Minimal to no RTO is permitted and must be discussed at time of application
• Travelers are expected to follow facility scrub or business casual dress codes
• Open to local and travel candidates
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
