American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a SC or compact license and expertise with Epic EMR.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital emergency department
• Required to work 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays as needed
• No on-call required for this position
• May be required to float between like units or sister facilities in the region according to staffing needs
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Royal blue scrubs are required in the ER

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license in hand before start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• Willingness to provide a valid Social Security Number and Driver's License for onboarding consideration

• First-time travelers who meet the experience requirements are welcome to apply
• All RTO must be included at time of consideration; approval based on facility needs
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Pre-employment online training modules must be completed prior to starting

• During hurricane season (June-November), assignment to emergency response teams may be required as needed
