Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical unit night shift position requiring at least 2 years of experience and a current WV or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00pm-7:30am) including weekdays and weekends
• Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7
• 13-week contract with possible extension
• EMR system used is Cerner

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• No travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• No scrubs provided; travelers must bring their own
• Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed but unit will try to accommodate requests
• Strict attendance policy allowing only 2-3 call offs per contract
• References from managers or charge nurses within the past year are required for consideration
