American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a critical need Emergency Room position in California requiring an active CA RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Work in an Emergency Room setting within a hospital environment
• Patient population consists of adults and children requiring emergency care
• 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time ER nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
• All licenses and certifications must be active; pending credentials are not accepted
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• CEN and TNCC certifications preferred
• Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Contingent workers may not exceed two years of service without a 90-day break
