American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a travel PACU position requiring recent experience and active OR RN licensure.

Details

• Position is in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a clinical setting
• Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics recovering from anesthesia
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Active RN license in Oregon required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent PACU or critical care experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be current
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include post-anesthesia patient monitoring, pain management, and procedural sedation
• Experience with procedural sedation and pediatric care in ER, ICU, or PACU is preferred
• Familiarity with pain management injection procedures is desirable
• Training in procedural sedation competency is preferred
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• All required licenses and certifications must be active upon consideration; pending are not accepted
