American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Progressive Care Unit night shift position requiring NIHSS certification and Epic charting experience.

Details

• Work in the Neurology Progressive Care Unit (7A) within a hospital setting
• Night shift position consisting of 12-hour shifts, three times per week
• Care for neuro stepdown patients with progressive care needs
• Weekends are required as part of the schedule
• Epic EMR is used and previous Epic experience is required
• Floating may be required to similar units as needed

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in neuro stepdown or progressive care
• Current NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• Epic EMR experience required
• Strong med/surg nurses with stepdown experience and required certifications may be considered
• Must provide a resume, references from supervisors within the past 2 years, and verification of license and certifications

Additional Information

• Provide progressive care to neurological patients in a specialized neurology unit
• Manager will interview qualified candidates before offer
• No block scheduling is permitted
• Orientation provided on unit procedures and protocols
