Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a current CA RN license, ACLS, and BLS certifications for a dynamic cath lab role.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Adult patient population requiring diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Day shift, 5x8 hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:30
• Every other weekend required
• On-call at least once per week and one weekend per month, with opportunities for additional call shifts

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, TAVI/TAVR, and pacemaker/defibrillator procedures
• Proficiency in procedural sedation administration and monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and use of specialized equipment such as IABP and Impella
• Previous experience with hemodynamic monitoring and emergency medication administration

Additional Information

• Assist with a wide range of cardiac procedures including stent placement, valvuloplasty, rotablator atherectomy, and device implantation
• Provide procedural sedation, manage central lines, administer blood products, and ensure infection prevention practices
• Pre-start modules are required and will be completed online prior to start
• Return staff are reviewed on a case-by-case basis for eligibility
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
