American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a TX or compact license, night shifts, and multiple certifications.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Covers triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition roles, with no post-partum assignment
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00
• Assignment length is up to 16 weeks, with a minimum of 13 weeks considered
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required; pending license accepted but must be active before start
• Certifications required: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Two references from supervisors within the last 3 years required
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius; local candidates are not accepted

• Responsibilities include rotating through various roles within labor and delivery, excluding postpartum care
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the schedule
• On-site drug screening is conducted as part of pre-employment requirements
