American Traveler seeks an experienced OR RN for a pediatric hospital with pediatric experience and BLS/PALS certification required.

Details

• Position is in the operating room of a pediatric hospital
• Variable shift schedule, including weekdays and weekends with 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts
• Day shifts commonly (3x12 hours) from 6:45 to 18:45
• Call is required as part of the assignment
• 13 week assignment length with possible extension

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required at the time of consideration
• CNOR certification preferred but not required
• Minimum 5 years recent OR experience preferred
• Pediatric OR experience preferred
• Recent travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Two supervisor-level references from within the last 12 months required

Additional Information

• Will provide perioperative care for pediatric patients
• Operating within a nicotine-free campus, nicotine testing is required
• Minimal to no time off during the contract is allowed and must be approved in advance
