American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring MS/Tele, cardiac tele, and ER holding experience with night shifts available.

Details

• Work in a Med/Surg and Telemetry Float Pool across multiple inpatient units
• Floating required to Med Surg, Intermediate Care (IMC), and ED Boarder units as needed
• Night shifts available, with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (1900-0730)
• Every third weekend shift is required
• Cardiac telemetry and ER holding patient populations encountered

Requirements

• Active RN license in MD or Compact state required
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele and cardiac telemetry experience required
• ER holding (ED Border) experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• CPI and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred

Additional Information

• Role involves floating to cover patient care needs throughout Med/Surg, Telemetry, IMC, and ED Boarder settings
• Night shift position with every third weekend requirement
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Locals within 60 miles are accepted
