Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring MO or compact RN license and strong MS/Telemetry background.

Details

• Work in a hospital telemetry float pool
• Float between units based on skills with first-to-float assignments for travelers
• 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715
• Experience with MS/Telemetry patients is required
• Care for patients receiving medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitroglycerin
• Every other weekend is required
• Holiday coverage is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Orientation consists of a 2-day general orientation, unit-specific orientation, and clinical orientation

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum experience required: MS/Telemetry
• Progressive Care (Step-Down) and ICU experience preferred
• Experience with vasoactive drips such as Levophed, Nicardipine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Neosynephrine, Dobutamine preferred
• TNCC required only for candidates with ICU experience
• New graduates are not accepted
