American Traveler is seeking an experienced LPN for a fast-paced family clinic setting, requiring BLS certification and active MI and WI licenses by start date.

Details

• Work in a primary care and pediatric outpatient clinic
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm day shifts with no weekends or holidays required
• Assignment length is 13 weeks with 8-hour shifts
• Clinic includes 16 exam rooms and averages 5 providers and 60 patients daily
• Patient population consists of acute visits, annual wellness, medication follow-ups, and vaccine administration
• May float to other primary care clinic locations including sites in Wisconsin
• Uses Allscripts and Athena EMR systems

Requirements

• Active MI and WI LPN licenses required if applicable, must be obtained by assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of relevant LPN experience required
• Current BLS certification is required
• Experience in primary care and pediatrics preferred
• Two professional references required, including one from a supervisor and one from a peer or supervisor

Additional Information

• Duties include rooming patients, managing medication refills, obtaining prior authorizations, and handling patient phone calls
• Scrubs required, with no color restrictions
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced clinic environment
• No call, standby, weekend, or holiday coverage required
• Orientation may range from 10 to 15 shifts depending on start date
• Former employees must have a 6-month gap since last employment, with approval required
• Local candidates within 80 miles are considered at a reduced rate
