Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced LPN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital requiring at least 1 year of recent rehab or hospital experience and current state license.

Details

• Work in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
• Patient population consists of individuals requiring short-term, comprehensive rehabilitation with average stays of 14 days
• Scheduled for 3x12 hour day shifts (07:00-19:00), with required availability on Fridays and every other weekend
• Uses Cerner for charting, prior experience preferred
• Solid color scrubs and closed-toed shoes required

Requirements

• Active state LPN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital or rehabilitation experience within the past 2 years
• Current CPR certification required
• ACLS certification preferred, and required when serving as Charge Nurse
• One professional reference required at time of consideration
• Background screening required with no DUIs or background hits considered
• First-time travelers will be considered
• License required if applicable

• Teamwork, positive attitude, and a patient-centered approach are essential
• Cannot take every holiday off and all time off requests must be submitted upfront
• No block scheduling; flexibility to work Fridays and every other weekend is expected
