Description

American Traveler is seeking a Transplant Coordinator RN with at least two years of Med/Surg or clinic experience and a DC RN license for a day shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a transplant clinic setting focusing on kidney-pancreas organ transplants
• Day shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required in hand before start date; pending license considered if obtained by start
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• At least 2 years of RN experience in either a clinic or acute inpatient Med/Surg setting
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• Flu vaccination required

Additional Information

• Responsible for transplant coordination and patient management in a kidney-pancreas program
• Orientation modules required, averaging 12 hours and completed before or during orientation
• Former employees must have at least a one-year gap before returning as a traveler
• No first-time travelers will be considered
