American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring a current MD or compact RN license and at least 2 years of neuro critical care experience.

Details

• Work in a Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) within a hospital setting
• Care for patients with severe brain injuries, stroke, brain tumors, and those post-neurosurgical procedure
• Patient population includes neurologically complex cases and interface with multiple organ systems
• Rotating 12-hour shifts (7A/7P), including 3 out of 6 weekends
• On-call required 2 times per 6-week schedule
• Floating to areas of similar skill set including other ICU/IMC units as needed
• Uses Epic EMR, experience required

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of recent neuro critical care experience
• Experience in hospitals with 500+ bed count required
• Epic EMR experience required
• ACLS, Critical Care Certification, or trauma course preferred

Additional Information

• Participate in care for neurologically complex and post-op neurosurgical patients
• Orientation provided on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate except for select facilities
