Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Cath Lab position requiring current EP experience and a valid IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) department of a cardiac catheterization lab
• Care for patients undergoing EP and cardiac cath lab procedures
• Exposure to interventional radiology (IR) procedures may be required
• Uses EPIC CUPID electronic medical record system
• Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting physicians during cath and EP procedures

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 24 months of recent experience in Electrophysiology (EP), Cardiac Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology (IR)
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• AHA or ARC Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• Completion of a discipline-specific skills checklist required

Additional Information

• Applicants must provide a professional reference from a supervisor or nurse manager within the past 24 months
• Cardiac cath lab and EP experience are strongly preferred
• Travel experience is desirable but not required
• Candidates must not have been employed with the client within the previous 12 months
• Team members are expected to work collaboratively during complex procedures
