American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (IMC Stepdown) night shift role in a hospital setting, requiring current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

Work in the IMC Stepdown unit of a hospital
Unit has 20 beds and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
Night 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required
Patient population includes those with pneumonia and other intermediate care needs
Floating required as needed within your skillset, including supporting floatpool or similar units
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

Active AL or compact RN license
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Previous PCU, IMC, or stepdown nursing experience required

Additional Information

Provide care to patients with intermediate or progressive needs in a fast-paced environment
Navy blue scrubs required
No on-call responsibilities
Holiday coverage may be required based on the hospital schedule
